Privacy notice
What this website collects, why, who else handles it, and how to ask us to change or delete it. Written to be read.
Who we are
This website, threatxintel.com, is run by Threatxintel Cyber Labs LLP, Bengaluru, India ("ThreatXIntel", "we"). We decide how the personal data described here is used. For any privacy question or request, email info@threatxintel.com.
This notice covers this website only. The HashGo products, and threatxintel.ai where they are sold, have their own terms and notices, including the acceptable use policy.
What we collect
When you send the contact form
Your name, email address, and optionally your company, the topic and product you chose, and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to keep a record of our conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list.
The form sends your message to two places, so a single outage doesn't lose it: our own server, which stores it and emails our team, and Web3Forms, a form-delivery service that emails it to us and sends you an automatic confirmation.
Analytics, only if you accept
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. Analytics cookies are set only after you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Until then, and if you choose Decline, Google Analytics runs in "consent mode": it receives cookieless signals that a page was viewed, without cookies or identifiers that recognise you across visits. Nothing is used for advertising.
You can change your choice at any time: . Declining after accepting deletes the analytics cookies we set.
| Name | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics: tells visits apart. Set only after you accept. | Up to 2 years |
| txi-consent | Remembers your cookie choice. Stored in your browser's local storage, never sent to us. | Until you clear it |
Server logs and fonts
Like most websites, our web server records basic request details (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to keep the site secure and working. These logs are rotated and deleted on a regular schedule. Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser fetches them.
Why we use it
- Replying to you: you asked us to, by sending the form.
- Analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Security logs: keeping the site and its visitors safe, a legitimate use under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and a legitimate interest under the GDPR.
Who else handles it
We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. These service providers process it on our behalf:
- Web3Forms: delivers contact-form messages by email.
- Google: Google Analytics (with consent) and Google Fonts.
- Our hosting provider: runs the servers this site is served from.
Some of these providers process data outside India, including in the United States. We use providers that protect personal data in line with applicable law.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form messages for as long as we need them to reply and to keep a record of our correspondence, and longer only if you become a customer and the message becomes part of that relationship. You can ask us to delete your message at any time.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to analytics at any time. Under India's DPDP Act you can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you and raise a grievance with us; if we don't resolve it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the GDPR rights to object, restrict processing and data portability, and to complain to your local supervisory authority.
To make a request, email info@threatxintel.com. We reply within one business day and act on requests within 30 days.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
